This is an elegant 7000 square foot mansion on the front beach at Isle of Palms, designed for family reunions, corporate retreats and other large groups. Sleeping accommodations are provided in 11 bedrooms and a third floor bunkroom. The house has 8 bathrooms and is equipped with multiple kitchen facilities and multiple dishwashers. It has an upstairs entertainment room, a large downstairs living room with a fireplace and several sundecks.

The Mansion is designed to accommodate several families with children, over 24 people. The 11 bedrooms provide sleeping for 11 couples; alternatively, several of the king-size beds can be separated into singles. Several couches and futons provide extra sleeping room for children and singles. The third floor contains a large open area with space for 10 or more children or teens to "camp out" on the floor or use foam mattresses on platforms along the wall. A third floor sundeck provides the best views on the island, as well as a private place for sunbathing.

The Mansion is on the front beach; a private 200-foot boardwalk leads to the ocean. Most, but not all, of the bedrooms have ocean views, and several have porches or balconies. The views up and down the beach from the second and third floors are magnificent.

The 7000 square feet of living area are cooled by five separate air conditioning units. In addition to the main "living kitchen" in the open part of the first floor, there is a classic southern "back kitchen" for food preparation and dishwashing, as well as a kitchenette on the second floor. With two refrigerators on the first floor and one on the second, cold drinks and snacks are always at hand. Two adjacent dining areas provide sit-down dining for 16. There are several more seats at the granite bar. Two dishwashers allow you to load dirty dishes into one while using clean dishes from the other.

A large entertainment area on the second floor contains a 32 inch television with attached VCR and DVD player. Cable TV is provided. The master bedroom contains its own TV set; there is also one in the bar/dining area on the first floor. The third floor bunkroom is equipped with an eight-foot pool table.

In the Winter, fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom suite provide seasonal ambiance.

The Isle of Palms is one of South Carolina's barrier islands. It is on the northeast side of Charleston and is only 20 minutes by car from the city. It is a small residential town during most of the year and a vacationer's paradise in the late spring, summer and early fall. It has a wide beach with fine white sand. Restaurants and entertainment are a 10-minute walk down the beach. On the same island, only an 8-minute drive away, is the Wild Dunes resort, with its world class golf and tennis. Numerous other golf courses are located within a half hour's drive.

Charleston, South Carolina is an historic colonial port city. The downtown area has been restored and preserved and is the destination of civil war and revolutionary war buffs from around the world. It is also the location of numerous gourmet restaurants. It hosts the Spoleto Festival and the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition in the spring and numerous other music and maritime festivals throughout the year.
