Great fishing, shrimping and crabbing in this area also, with boat launches accessing the St. Johns River. Other boat launches are also easily available on the island.

Orlando International Airport is roughly 1 hr. and 15 minutes from the house, and 30 minutes from the Daytona Beach International Airport (my personal favorite!) Many tourist attractions are accessible from New Smyrna Beach, with Disney World approximately 1.5 hours away - easy drive.
